Jamendo is one of the best free music download sites on the web. You can also stream music with your mobile phone or pc on Jamendo.
For most people like me who live a sedentary lifestyle, having to work from home five days a week, music becomes a most suitable companion when we’re not face-timing and there’s a lot of paperwork to be done. So, I’ve always required an app that gives me access to a plethora of music genres plus, I love listening to new music.
When I stumbled upon Jamendo, I fell in love with it because I didn’t know I could get everything I ever needed in one single site. Talk about a free, independent musical app where all genres of music, including brand new music by upcoming artists can be easily downloaded and are absolutely free. I feel this site is the best thing that has happened to my work routine. And the good news for upcoming, independent artists is that they can effectively share their songs for people all over the world to see, download, and listen to using the site and if you’re worried about licensing, the Jamendo team has got you covered. Now that counts for a lot. If this isn’t a huge extra then I don’t know what is.

Based on features, this unique site has a nice display of soothing colors, sharp graphics, and clear resolution images. It has a moderate loading speed with no ads to disrupt operations. The environment is secure and you don’t need other software to use the site. Also, people go for less complicated sites to save them time and stress. Jamendo has remained the best choice for me when it comes to ease of use. You don’t even need to be computer savvy to make good use of the site or app because it’s very easy to navigate, download, and upload music with it.
There’s no room for hunting. I literally breezed through and got everything I needed the first time I visited. It opens up to a page with a call to action. ‘Start’ is elaborate, centralized, and in bright magenta, for obscurity. The ‘Log-in’ is at the top left corner and the process is easy. There’s a ‘Join’ for independent artists which requires a one-time subscription, and a list of what the site offers. Once you start, you’re taken to the page where you can find an endless list of music genres
Aside from ease of use, the site offers great benefits such as; free downloads of over 500,000 music according to the genre, radio, FAQs, uploads, background songs for videos, soundtracks for movies, commercials, you name it, a well-written and concise ‘About us’ page, employment opportunities and the overall benefit which is to bring independent artists and lovers of new music together.
Indeed, the 20-man team in Luxembourg who had pioneered Jamendo have succeeded in their primary goal which is to build a very large community of independent artists and creating a medium for them to put their talents out there for people like me to enjoy for free.
