Canadian actor, director, and producer.
Born on August 27, 1981 in Toronto (Ontario, Canada) in the family of a journalist. He attended North High School in Toronto and moved to Los Angeles (California, USA) after his parents divorced in 2000.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California. He was able to pay for his studies with a Jack Nicholson scholarship, paid personally by the famous artist to the best actor in school theaters.
On the big screens for the first time appeared in the role of Patch in the film "Old School" (2002). He made his TV debut as Brandon in an episode of Strong Medicine (2004). He is best known for his role as Mike in the TV series "Force Majeure", in which he also took part as a producer and director.
He was awarded honorary life membership of the University College Dublin Law Society in September 2013.
He plays guitar and is an avid photographer. There are about 25 different cameras in his collection.
